My apologies for not seeing this until now. At least for the Windows version, there should be a .exe file you can run after you unzip; if it's not there (possibly within a second folder) then the download or the unzip has stuffed up, and you may have to try again.
Are you using the Windows version, or another platform?

This short game is really nice. The first screen is a customization screen. Here you can pick your pronouns that change how you are addressed, and the other options change how each character perceives you. The options you choose also impact what your character looks like.
Kirby is the shy young guy who is adorable and huggable. Micah is the studious man. Ash is the token bad boy with a heart of gold. All of the characters have their own unique charm and treat you differently based on your choices at the beginning of the game, as well as later on. Considering each play through is only ten or so minutes, there are a surprising amount of options for how the story progresses.
One funny thing I noticed was that the itch.io page describes Kirby as "A chronically white kid." I am…not sure what that means? But hey, it gave me a chuckle.
This game was known for having a plot-twist (hinted at in the game’s name according to the developer, except it is so vaguely hinted, I cannot imagine anyone actually guessed). I went in knowing the plot twist, but I was still able to fully enjoy the game.
The game is so short, just pick whoever you feel like. I cant really recommend an order to play the routes in.
Absolutely go play this game. The game is adorable, the plot-twist is surprising, each play takes a maximum of ten minutes, and it is just fun.

I AM SO..............................................................................................................SAD. THIS IS AMAZING INSPIRATION FOR ANOTHER BOOK(AN ASPIRING AUTHOR).

Tundere dude was saved by.. us, the Dork was kinda treating us as a namuh, and the greeny was the only one what I thought who treated us like a oggod. Hey, in case no one's given you details yet, I had the same issue with the game crashing. It happens at the very end on every path, right after the line "It was home."

This game broke me. It blew my mind. It was so surprising. The twist got me especially well for a few reasons. When I go out to download dating sims, I look for them and then download like twenty at once. Then usually I leave most of them (if not all of them) for weeks. When I finally come back, I remember nothing about any of these games, except for a few certain ones.
So I opened this expecting a normal dating sim. I WAS VERY WRONG. The ending was so shell-shocking, so "WOAH", I literally closed the game and had to get up from my computer. So props for having broken me. ;P
I'm so glad it had an impact! XD I was never sure when I was working on it. I made myself get pretty weepy with the endings, but I'm so sentimental about the particular subject matter, I had no idea how it would land for other people. It's deeply rewarding when people tell me things like this, so, thank you :) I hope you also had fun!

I loved every little bit of it, and I feel like replaying it just for the sake of it. I think Ash's route was my favorite, but honestly, they were all great!
Thank you! I did draw all the character art, but the backgrounds are mostly made from stock photographs that I filtered or and/or touched up. Most are real places in Australia, though I cheated by including both Melbourne and Brisbane in the one area ;p The exception is Ash's ending scene, where you can sort of tell that I drew the background myself ^_^;
I can't believe this game actually managed to make me feel so much haha. I'm sending this to my friends to see if they pick up on clues for the ending! Thank you for the amazing story.

Downloaded and extracted it, didnt work or give me an icon to open it. Then tried it non extracted, wouldnt let me not extract it. Any help?
